Already have a design from your designer or your own software? Upload the front and back as JPG, PNG or PDF files and we print them on 30mil PVC cards. There's no minimum order, and you see the price before you pay.

Upload your files

Upload the front (and the back, if it has one) as JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 25 MB each. Choose ID card, luggage tag or gift card.

Check the preview

Your artwork opens in our editor, fitted to the card. Adjust it, or add names and numbers on top if every card needs to be different.

Order and we print

Cards are printed on industrial card printers and shipped via UPS with tracking within 3–5 business days, or the same day with Rush when you order by 11 AM ET on a weekday.

File setup

Card size

Standard CR80: 3.375 × 2.125 in (85.6 × 54 mm), horizontal or vertical. Vertical artwork prints as a vertical card.

Resolution

Export at 300 dpi: at least 1013 × 638 px for a horizontal card. Artwork is stored at about 470 dpi, so higher-resolution files keep their detail.

Edges

We print to the edge of the card. Keep text and logos at least 1/8 in (3 mm) inside the edge so nothing important sits on it.

PDF files

We print the first page of a PDF, with its fonts and colors. CMYK files are converted to RGB automatically.

Other shapes

Artwork with a different shape from the card is fitted inside it, and you pick the background color that fills the gap.

Personalize it

Add {{Name}} or a barcode on top of your artwork and upload a spreadsheet to make a different card for every person.

Per card, full-color front. Your whole roster counts toward the quantity.

Orders under 100 cards include a one-time $25 setup fee. Printed backs, NFC chips and rush production are optional add-ons. Qualifying nonprofits save 10% — apply here.

Questions

Do I need to add bleed? +
No. Size your file at the card's finished size, 3.375 × 2.125 in. Just keep important text and logos 1/8 in from the edges.
Will the colors match my screen? +
Card printers use their own ink set, so very bright or neon colors can print slightly differently from a screen. If exact color matters, order a single card first.
Can every card have a different name or number? +
Yes. After uploading, add text fields like {{Name}} or a barcode set to {{ID Number}} on top of your artwork, then upload a spreadsheet with one row per person.
How much does it cost to print my artwork? +
The same as any card: from $3.10 a card, depending on quantity. Orders under 100 cards include a one-time $25 setup fee; 100 or more have no setup fee. See the price table above.
Can you fix or redesign my file? +
Our design team can rebuild or clean up a design from a short brief. See design services.
Who is responsible for mistakes in my file? +
We print the file exactly as you upload and approve it, so check spelling and details first. See shipping & returns.
